Susan Knox, Instructor, is a life long and avid horseperson with over 40 years of horsemanship experience.  She has managed our breeding and training operation for the past 20 years and is now committed to share her passion for horses as a full time Instructor.  Susan became certified by the American Riding Instructors Association in 2008 in Stable Management and Hunt Seat Equitation Over Fences.  She is a patient and calm instructor, and excellent communicator, experienced with both young horses and young riders.  The focus of the instruction is the formation of sound basics and good horsemanship.  Here are some comments from parents, students and peers:

From A.R.I.A:  "We rarely see such high scores across all subjects!  Excellent Job!"

From an Adult Student:  "Honestly, after my first lesson I knew I had found someone at last who would listen to my goals and help me acheive them."  (Deb Purcell)

From a Teen Student: "I love how she works with green horses, taking it slow..."

From a parent:  "Your strength is the way you work with timid riders.  You need to tell people about that".  (Gail Szanyi)

From a child:  "Mom, she doesn't yell!" (Maggie)

I hope we have the opportunity to share our passion for horses with you.
